I have been putting off writing this for obvious reasons. Well, maybe not so obvious. To me what is obvious is that not many people can claim to know much about what it means to follow in the way of Jesus with a lot certitude, and certainly not I. Not because there is a lot of mystery involved, but because the knowing and doing are often further apart then the 18 inches that separates the heart and head. I am gaining tiredness from conceptualized Christianity.

So we have been back for about 2 weeks now, or at least going on 2 weeks. I have determined to just sit down and write out my thoughts so far, in no particular order and with no particular purpose. Random. So here we go…
1. It’s a lot of work. I have never had 6 kids before, so please forgive me. I knew it would add significantly to the work load, which it has, but the sheer number of things like bikes and bananas can pose a significant threat to ones sanity ( and I am at the office most of the day.
